Elizabeth McCalls inspiration is what lead to the Master's Collection No. 17, the Five-Malt Stouted Mash. This release is a rich, malty stout that is a darkly robust expression of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey.
The aromas of roasted malt and toasted nuts mingle with hints of chocolate, orange zest and warm baking spices. The flavors of malty hazelnut with hints of citrus zest are laced with notes of baked fruit, crisp spice and gooey fudge. The essences of tart berries, leather, and coffee grounds flit around through the finish.
