The Siete Leguas Siete Decadas Blanco Tequila is a special limited edition, in celebration of their 70 years of hand-made tequila craftsmanship. A very limited number of bottles were created for this release.
For 70 years, the Jimadores of this house have harvested wild blue agaves, Agaves Criollos, from their family estate "Rancho Las Trojes". The agaves are slowly cooked in small ovens before being 100% Tahona crushed. The agave juice and fibers, or mosto, is naturally fermented with wild yeast and agave fibers. Once fermentation is complete, it is then double distilled in copper stills before being bottled.
