This whiskey was created and released by Sazerac as a tribute to Seagram's first Master Blender, Sam Bronfman who revolutionized the art of blending whiskeys. Sazerac's current Master Blender, Drew Mayville, was taught the art of blending from the lineage created by Sam Bronfman. Drew Mayville was given full access to Sazerac's warehouses, including Buffalo Trace and many others, in order to create the approximate 1,200 bottles of the Mister Sam Tribute Whiskey.
The Mister Sam Tribute Whiskey includes a copy of the book, "From Little Acorns" penned by Sam Bronfman himself. The book has been included to further express Sazerac's gratitude to Sam Bronfman for his contributions and lifelong dedication to the industry.
