For the first time in the brandʼs 150 year history, Old Forester is elated to present this new expression, unfiltered, as a single barrel at Rye Barrel Strength. This is the first new product from their rye recipe of 65% Rye, 20% Malted Barley, and 15% Corn, since its debut in 2019, and only the second product made with the Old Forester Rye recipe in history.
Starting notes of creamy vanilla and lemon custard alongside rich brown sugar leading you to that well-spiced rye with a base of ripe orchard fruit, cinnamon, cloves, and hazelnut. The finish is lengthy and spice driven with peripheral black pepper and a pleasant cherry pie taste throughout.
This Rye Barrel Strength is being released in ultra limited quantities between 100 to 200 bottles per state, so get yours while you have the chance.
