Colonel E.H. Taylor's Distiller's Council Bottled in Bond Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is a one-of-a-kind bourbon never before released. E.H. Taylor Distiller's Council is a unique expression using white corn as used in Taylor's original mash bill. While the exact recipe has been lost to history, this bourbon stems from a special meeting that occurred only once. In the late 1990's, Elmer T. Lee, Harlen Wheatley, Jimmy Johnson, and other luminaries formed a one-of-a-kind Distiller's Council, combining their lifetimes of distilling knowledge to determine this unique recipe, paying tribute to Taylor's legacy. This limited-release expression is the result of their efforts.

Known as the "Father of the modern bourbon industry", Colonel E.H. Taylor developed innovative distilling techniques and helped solidify bourbon's relevance by championing the Bottled-in-Bond Act. In 1953, this first-of-its-kind branded decanter continued his innovative legacy, helping elevate bourbon bottles to status symbols. Styled after an antique Grecian vase, this ornate bottle continued Taylor's tradition of prestige and innovation, capturing the allure of a refined bourbon meant to be admired as much as it was enjoyed.
