Created by Buffalo Trace, this bourbon has been aged and matured in the finest oak barrels from the Canton Cooperage. These staves, harvested from select American white oak, were open air seasoned and hand sorted in Kentucky. The meticulous preparation of the staves has ensured that this bourbon carries the perfect nuances of oak, complimenting the natural flavors of the spirit.
The bourbon opens with scents of dark berries and warm caramel, which lead into flavor notes of maple syrup and vanilla. The finish is long and comforting with additional notes of oak, pepper, and chocolate.
