The King of Kentucky, established in 1881, was discontinued in 1968. Brown-Forman revived the label in 2018 to pay homage to the brand's past with an annual release of the King of Kentucky. Each single barrel release is barrel strength, minimally filtered, and has it's own unique flavor profile. Every bottle is hand filled, wax dipped, and hand numbered.
The 2023 release boasts a 16 year age statement, being bottled from Barrel 2 in Warehouse G. This release holds the same basic flavor profile as the previous releases, but carries with it the surprising flavors of candied fruit and grapes.
